Educational resources
Empowering sustainability education
While our flagship tool TASK™, The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledge, evaluates sustainability knowledge and the effectiveness of your teaching strategy, the following resources are designed to support the preparation of candidates for the assessment and to promote positive change in the institutions at large.

TASK™ Resource Hub
This hub brings together a plethora of relevant resources on sustainability.
Its aim is to facilitate the deployment of TASK™ at your institution, and by extension, our shared mission to mainstream sustainability. Resources include the Intro2TASK™ and Navigational Charts.

New feature: TASK™ Study Guides
TASK™ Study Guides help institutions meet their students where they are and transform assessment scores into individualised opportunities for learning. They complement other learning activities by helping learners to build foundational knowledge in areas where they scored lower, or deepen understanding in subjects where they performed well.
After completing TASK™ candidates access a personalised selection of Guides, each containing:
- a description of subject and why it matters
- key learning objectives and topics to explore
- curated, high-quality resources for self-paced improvement

A learning journey with TASK™
If you’re wondering how TASK™ would fit into your program, here are our recommendations. They are based on the practices of our Change Leader community, who have successfully integrated TASK™ into their programs and demonstrated impact.
1
TASK™ Pre-assessment
Establish a baseline of “what do my students or staff know and what is there to learn?” and inform your curriculum.

2
Sustainability education
Our Navigational Charts and additional resources support you designing better trainings about sustainability.
You can also share the Intro2TASK and encourage students to review the TASK™ Study Guides.
3
TASK™ Post-assessment
Measure what your community have learned about sustainability and demonstrate your impact!

Tools to raise awareness of sustainability
For over 10 years, we have offered tools to raise awareness on sustainability. These online tools can be used independently to increase learning and awareness of global issues, or to help candidates prepare for the TASK™ assessment.
